Ingredients
1 cup frozen sliced banana
1/4 cup Greek yogurt
1/4 cup milk (almond, oat, or dairy)
1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Instructions
Place the frozen banana slices into the blender jar.
Add the Greek yogurt on top of the bananas.
Pour the milk over the ingredients.
Add the vanilla extract.
Blend on low speed, then increase to high power for one minute.
Check consistency and add an extra tablespoon of milk if desired.
Serve immediately in a chilled glass.
Notes
Use overripe bananas with brown spots before freezing to maximize natural sweetness. To prevent clumping when freezing, place slices in a single layer on a parchment-lined tray before transferring to a freezer bag.
